C-V2X Infrastructure

Our CV2X infrastructure consists of a roadside unit (RSU) deploued at each pole across our CUIP Smart Corridor.

RSUs broadcast different types of messages to the connected road users:

  • MAP Messages: predefine lane geometry for each geofence/intersection.
  • Sensor Data Sharing Message (SDSMs) from traffic controllers' SPAT Messages.
  • SDSMs from the LiDARs' events.
  • BSMs.

Scehma's for each of message types follow standardized formats following SAE standards.

Frequency

All mentioned message types come in a 10 Hz frequency.
